Blueberry Almond Porridge with Date Syrup

Treat yourself for breakfast with a warm bowl of this delicious Vanilla Almond Oatmeal with Blueberries! Healthy, super filling and easily made on the stove top (or slow cooker) in under 20 minutes!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats (jumbo oats/ old fashioned oats)
- 1 cup skimmed milk or any other vegan substitution
- 1 tsp almond butter
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Toppings : blueberries, chopped almonds and drizzle of Date Syrup or honey.

Here's How to Make Blueberry Almond Porridge with Date Syrup
Step 1: Set the Pan
Set the saucepan over moderate heat; add oats, cinnamon, milk, almond butter, and chia seeds. Let it cook until the mixture starts to boil.
Step 2: Simmering
After boiling the mixture, then decrease the heat to low. Stir and cook more for 2-3 minutes until thoroughly done.
Step 3: Transfer to the Bowl
When the porridge is wholly done, transfer to the bowl and add topping elements (blueberries, sliced almonds, drizzle of Date Syrup, or honey).
