Here's How to Make ‘Healthier’ Homemade Snicker Bars
Step 1: Form Nougat Layer
Take a large-size bowl and add all nougat layer ingredients to it . Mix them well until combined thoroughly.
Step 2: Form Nougat Layer
Spread the parchment paper at the bottom of the loaf pan, transfer the prepared layer of nougat, spread it evenly, press softly and freeze.
Step 3: Form Caramel and Spread Peanut
Take another medium-size mixing bowl and add caramel ingredients to it (without the roasted unsalted peanuts). After the frozen nougat layer has set, spread the caramel layer over it evenly and sprinkle the roasted peanuts on top of this layer, and press softly until peanuts are spread evenly.
Step 4: Freezing
Now place the loaf tin in the freezer for a minimum of 3 hours.
Step 5: Melt the Chocolate
Take a microwave-safe small bowl and add 200g dark chocolate. Melt the chocolate over medium heat and stir regularly during the melting process.
Step 4: Slice into bars and spread Chocolate
Use a very sharp knife or snicker cutter to cut into bars. Spread the melted chocolate all over the bars and leave it in the fridge to set completely.
